Social, Humanitarian & Cultural

This is the Third UN Committee, also known as the Social, Humanitarian & Cultural Committee (SOCHUM), as it primarily deals with social, humanitarian, and cultural issues.

It is for those who are interested in politics through a human rights and cultural perspective. It offers a valuable research experience for those who want to study international law, human rights, or social sciences at university, as it requires an understanding of various social issues, humanitarian crises, and cultural concerns to fully comprehend the topics being discussed. 

The Social, Humanitarian & Cultural Committee includes every member state of the UN, so all delegates wishing to apply can choose any country they can think of, as long as it is a part of the United Nations.
