The UN Security Council is one of the 6 principal organs of the UN with 5 permanent members and 10 temporary members.
As we aim to make our UN similation as accurate as is possible for a student led conference, the only available countries in Security Council will be these represented in the 2025-2026 term, which include:
Algeria, Guyana, Republic of Korea, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Denmark, Greece, Pakistan, Panama, Somalia
And of course the P5 countries:
China, Russia, USA, UK, France
Those applying for Security Council are expected to have prior experience with MUN and thoroughly understand the Rules of Procedure.
